Full job description

The Trade Desk is hiring a Technical Account Manager to lead strategic agency partner engagements and deepen integrations. The role involves managing post-sale technical relationships, participating in strategic meetings, identifying business opportunities, leading project tracking and reporting, and managing engineering work for scalable custom solutions. Candidates should have 2+ years in a technical client-facing role, proficiency in Excel, Office, Outlook, and preferably experience with SQL, web technologies, APIs, and digital advertising technology. Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. What you'll do

  • Manage the post-sale technical relationship for portfolio of accounts spanning multiple channel partners
  • Participate in strategic meetings to support engagements requiring technical consultation
  • Understand company capabilities and differentiators to identify opportunities supporting revenue growth
  • Lead development of project tracking and portfolio-specific goals aligned with company vision
  • Define framework for reporting progress with leadership
  • Ideate, scope, and program manage engineering work to facilitate scalable custom solutions
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with other functional leaders to solve business challenges
  • Identify opportunities for growth and drive efficiency and effectiveness across organizations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in a technical client-facing role
  • Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Office and Outlook
  • Experience with SQL, web technologies/web programming languages, and APIs is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
  • Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams
  • Ability to break down complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Experience with digital advertising technology is a major plus
