The Trade Desk is hiring a Technical Account Manager to lead strategic agency partner engagements and deepen integrations. The role involves managing post-sale technical relationships, participating in strategic meetings, identifying business opportunities, leading project tracking and reporting, and managing engineering work for scalable custom solutions. Candidates should have 2+ years in a technical client-facing role, proficiency in Excel, Office, Outlook, and preferably experience with SQL, web technologies, APIs, and digital advertising technology. Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. What you'll do
- Manage the post-sale technical relationship for portfolio of accounts spanning multiple channel partners
- Participate in strategic meetings to support engagements requiring technical consultation
- Understand company capabilities and differentiators to identify opportunities supporting revenue growth
- Lead development of project tracking and portfolio-specific goals aligned with company vision
- Define framework for reporting progress with leadership
- Ideate, scope, and program manage engineering work to facilitate scalable custom solutions
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other functional leaders to solve business challenges
- Identify opportunities for growth and drive efficiency and effectiveness across organizations
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in a technical client-facing role
- Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Office and Outlook
- Experience with SQL, web technologies/web programming languages, and APIs is strongly preferred
- Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
- Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams
- Ability to break down complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
- Experience with digital advertising technology is a major plus
