MiQ seeks a LATAM Tax Manager to lead and coordinate tax compliance across Latin America, overseeing corporate income tax, VAT/indirect tax, transfer pricing, and withholding tax matters. Responsibilities include managing the LATAM tax compliance calendar, coordinating third-party advisors and local finance teams, reviewing tax returns and workpapers, assessing withholding tax impacts on cross-border payments, monitoring transfer pricing compliance, supporting tax reporting and audits, partnering with business stakeholders on tax-related transactions, and strengthening regional governance. Requirements include 6+ years of relevant tax experience with LATAM exposure, practical knowledge of VAT and transfer pricing compliance, preferred qualification as accountant or tax lawyer, strong project and stakeholder management skills, proficiency with tax trackers and ERP data, and fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus). The role is full-time based in Mexico City. Salary range is approximately $6,100 to $6,700 USD.

Strengthen regional governance through trackers, review checklists, dashboards, process standardisation, and clear ownership of deadlines and issues
Requirements
6+ years of relevant tax experience, gained in-house and/or in Big Four or professional practice
Strong exposure to LATAM corporate tax and withholding tax matters
Practical understanding of VAT/indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance coordination across multiple LATAM jurisdictions
Qualification as an accountant, tax lawyer, or equivalent tax/finance professional is preferred
Strong project management, advisor management, review, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders across different countries and time zones
Comfort working with tax trackers, reporting packs, and ERP-driven data
Good Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Fluent Spanish and strong written and spoken English; Portuguese is an advantage
