Smadex is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a full-time, hybrid role based in Barcelona. The candidate will manage full-cycle recruitment for various positions internationally, partnering with hiring managers to understand needs, co-create job descriptions, build candidate pipelines, meet hiring timelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Responsibilities include managing recruiting processes, proactive candidate sourcing, maintaining ATS pipelines (JazzHR), leveraging recruitment data to improve hiring metrics, and representing the company at events. Requirements include 2+ years of in-house recruiting experience in fast-paced or hyper-growth tech environments, strong sourcing and headhunting skills, excellent English communication, analytical and organizational skills, and a legal permit to work in Barcelona (no visa sponsorship). What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end recruiting including CV review, initial phone screens, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, social media, university networks, and alternative search techniques to identify passive talent and meet hiring deadlines
- Act as a trusted partner to Hiring Managers; help them define their needs, manage their expectations, and support decision-making to ensure high-quality, long-term hires
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date pipeline in our ATS (JazzHR)
- Leverage recruitment data and analytics to support business cases, identify bottlenecks, and pursue creative solutions to improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire
- Ensure every candidate has a smooth and professional experience, regardless of the outcome
- Create and scale efficient workflows between candidates and hiring managers to ensure results
- Represent Smadex by attending networking events, university fairs, and e-meetups to spread the word about our culture
- Work closely with the broader HR & Office team to support overall recruitment goals and employer brand
Requirements
- 2+ years of in-house recruiting experience in a fast-paced start-up or hyper-growth tech company
- Experience in Tech recruitment is highly a plus
- Proven experience managing both high-volume recruitment and specialist/niche searches
- Strong experience in direct sourcing and headhunting techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) are mandatory
- Confident communicator who builds rapport with ease and enjoys working with people from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds
