Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Support Engineer to work onsite 4 days per week in New York. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 0-2 years of experience in online advertising or video advertising technology in a client-facing role. Candidates must have skills in SQL, scripting languages (JavaScript, Python), web technologies (HTTP, HTML5, XML), and experience with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with IAB standards such as VAST and openRTB is required. Responsibilities include solving complex problems, maintaining documentation, supporting customer experience, and collaborating with the team. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in online advertising/internet marketing or video/television advertising technology in a customer service and client-facing capacity
  • Create and maintain documentation for adtech platforms including runbooks, API references, and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with IAB standards including VAST and openRTB
  • Data analysis and processing skills using SQL, cURL
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, HTML5, XML
  • Object Oriented Programming experience with JavaScript, Python
  • Experience developing against RESTful APIs
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
