Full job description

The Strategic Relationships Manager will drive strategic growth and deepen publisher relationships within FreeWheel’s Publisher Advertising platform, focusing on the Streaming Hub business. The role requires expertise in CTV and streaming, managing commercial relationships, sales, renewals, and new product pitches. The manager will collaborate with internal teams and act as a strategic advisor to publishers to maximize inventory value and revenue. Required qualifications include over 5 years of client-facing experience in TV or digital video, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

What you'll do

  • Manage commercial relationships with Streaming Hub accounts
  • Handle sales, up-sales, renewals, and new product pitches
  • Grow strategic relationships across FreeWheel and Comcast group teams
  • Understand customers’ business and compile RFI data to accelerate new business approaches
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities positioning FreeWheel as a key media and advanced partner
  • Coordinate and prioritize FreeWheel’s resources against leads and teams
  • Support new business leads and help move opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Engage and communicate with internal business partners including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing
  • Work closely with Streaming Hub Account Managers, Programmatic Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to present a comprehensive customer experience

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in the TV industry and/or in digital video in a client-facing capacity
  • Commercially oriented personality with demonstrated competence in growing customer accounts
  • Leadership skills to work with large and complex customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all revenue and related strategic initiatives
  • Fast-learner and committed to being an expert in our business as well as in the business and the markets of our customers
  • Self-starter, creative in creating and closing opportunities as well as finding solutions to issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
