Full job description
Own multiple data science projects delivering end-to-end solutions including KPI development, insights, and dataset maintenance. Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering teams to improve products and build new capabilities such as automating data-driven tasks and developing algorithms for business optimization. Projects include developing and improving Linear Clearance Predictor, Linear Performance Prediction, Streaming Performance Prediction, and planning engines for Linear and Streaming TV using machine learning pipelines, SQL, python, and statistical methods. Requirements: two months experience in Data Science or Analytics, Master’s Degree in Data Science or related field, skills in machine learning, cloud computing, relational databases, MapReduce, data mining, and Python programming. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid work option with up to 2 days remote within commuting distance from offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York.
What you'll do
- Own multiple data science projects to deliver end-to-end solutions including KPI development, insights generation, and dataset maintenance
- Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering teams to improve existing products and build new capabilities
- Automate data-driven tasks and develop algorithms and features for business optimization and expansion
- Work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact, integrated business solutions
- Develop and improve Linear Clearance Predictor using predictive modeling, SQL, python, and machine learning pipelines
- Enhance Linear Performance Prediction model using machine learning pipeline, SQL, python, and statistical methods
- Develop Streaming Performance Prediction model end-to-end using machine learning pipeline, SQL, and python
- Support Linear and Streaming TV planning engines with predictive models, optimization methods, and explainability features
Requirements
- Two months experience in Data Science or Data Analytics
- Master’s Degree in Data Science or a related field
- Applying machine-learning techniques to real world problems
- Using cloud computing tools and storage systems to develop data science solutions
- Designing relational database models
- Large-scale data-mining and machine-learning analysis
- Using MapReduce framework
- Manipulating large data sets
- Programming in Python for retrieving, searching, and analyzing data from the Web
