The Trade Desk is seeking Senior or Staff Software Engineers to design, build, and deliver high-performance, large-scale distributed systems and data products. Candidates will work on petabyte-scale data challenges, low-latency services, high-throughput data pipelines, and machine learning systems. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of system design and delivery, performance optimization, automation, data governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requirements include significant experience with large-scale distributed or data-intensive systems, strong engineering fundamentals, proficiency with technologies such as C++, .NET Core, Rust, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and a focus on performance and efficiency. Bonus experience includes GPU or HPC-related work. The role is full-time, senior level, located in Shanghai, China.
