Full job description

Technical lead role for backend product line in data and analytics platform serving healthcare marketers. Responsibilities include owning architecture of high-throughput, secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot, designing multi-tenant privacy-first data flows with healthcare compliance, leading cross-team initiatives, building data-intensive asynchronous systems with Kafka, Redis, relational and analytical databases, integrating AI features including LLM-powered workflows, establishing engineering best practices, designing observability with Grafana and Prometheus, leading production issue investigations, mentoring engineers, and championing responsible AI-assisted development. Requires 8+ years backend engineering experience, deep expertise in Java 17+ and Spring ecosystem, experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Redis, big-data or analytical query engines, microservices, API design (REST and GraphQL), security fundamentals, messaging and workflow systems, cloud platforms (GCP or AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, practical AI engineering knowledge, and experience with AI pair programming tools. Healthcare data platform or ad tech experience is a plus.
