Full job description

Senior developer role responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining .NET based applications for an automotive marketing platform. Requires 8+ years experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Must have strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Microservices, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VueJS, jQuery), SQL Server or Oracle databases, cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and security standards (OAUTH, OWASP, SAML). Responsibilities include leading scalable web application development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring, incident response, and continuous improvement. Preferred experience with Visual Studio 2019+, Azure DevOps, Git, NoSQL, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you'll do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain .NET based applications and components
  • Design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications
  • Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and end-users
  • Review technical design documents and system specifications
  • Implement secure and high-performance solutions
  • Facilitate technical decisions and present to senior leadership
  • Translate user requirements into efficient code
  • Serve as technical SME and mentor team members
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years of development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience leading software development initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core
  • Experience with Microservices and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Vue.js, Angular)
  • Strong database skills with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle including T-SQL or PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of web architectural and design patterns
  • Experience with cloud services and automation (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Familiarity with security standards such as OAUTH, OWASP, SAML
  • Experience with Agile and software development lifecycle
  • Ability to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with migration strategies from legacy systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams
  • Experience writing technical specifications and software test plans
  • Preferred: Experience with Visual Studio 2019+, Azure DevOps, Git, NoSQL, Service Bus, Agile/SCRUM
  • Non-technical: Experience in automotive marketing
