Full job description

StackAdapt is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead design projects of significant scope and complexity. The role involves collaborating across teams to create intuitive, scalable experiences that empower marketers. Responsibilities include leading multi-team design initiatives, aligning design with business goals, translating complex systems into user-friendly products, building design frameworks, driving design strategy, mentoring designers, and contributing to design practice evolution. Candidates should have extensive experience designing complex products, mastery of interaction design and prototyping, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments. This is a remote-first full-time position open to candidates in Canada and the United States.

What you'll do

  • Lead design for complex, multi-team initiatives from problem framing through launch
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Revenue, Client Services, and Leadership to align design with business outcomes and customer value
  • Translate data-rich, technical systems into intuitive and scalable experiences
  • Build frameworks, patterns, and processes to improve product quality and consistency
  • Drive design vision and strategy balancing usability, automation, and performance
  • Mentor and guide designers, sharing context, feedback, and systems thinking
  • Contribute to evolving design practices to ensure scalable quality and intent

Requirements

  • Depth of experience designing complex products, ideally within data-driven, enterprise, or workflow-rich environments
  • Strong mastery of interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture
  • Ability to visualize and communicate abstract concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to connect design decisions to measurable business and user outcomes
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across technical, commercial, and operational teams
  • Balance of craft excellence and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
