Full job description
Join Vibe's Performance engineering team to own and improve the pacer and bidder systems that drive advertiser outcomes in CTV performance advertising. You will map and identify fragilities in the stack, propose and ship measurable improvements, and distribute critical system knowledge to reduce team dependencies. The role requires experience shipping backend systems in strongly typed languages (C++, Rust, Go, Scala, Java), debugging distributed systems under real traffic, understanding auction mechanics from DSP/SSP/bidder experience, building or tuning pacing algorithms or PID controllers, and solid probabilistic reasoning skills. Benefits include variable pay, hybrid work in Paris (3 days/week in office), health insurance, meal vouchers, annual offsite, and quarterly tech syncs. Salary range for France-based candidates is €127,000-€171,000.
What you'll do
- Own the pacer and bidder: map the stack end-to-end and identify fragilities
- Propose improvements to the bidder or pacer autonomously from problem definition through design
