The Application Security Engineer will strengthen the security of Epsilon’s software applications by embedding security into the development lifecycle and advancing AI-enabled engineering practices. Responsibilities include overseeing application security platforms (e.g., Veracode, SonarQube, Wiz), guiding analysis of security findings, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to align security practices with policies, driving AI adoption to embed security in development, advising teams on risk and remediation, communicating security risks clearly, producing KPI reports, educating teams on secure coding, onboarding new teams to security platforms, and building strong cross-functional relationships. Requirements include an associate degree or 2+ years in application security or cybersecurity, proficiency with Microsoft Office, knowledge of Bash scripting, Ansible, Terraform, prior software development experience, strong analytical and collaboration skills, and effective use of AI tools to enhance security and engineering productivity.

Associate degree or at least two years of hands-on experience in application security or cybersecurity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of Bash scripting and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
Prior experience as a software developer and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
