Full job description
Senior Technical Platform Operations Specialist responsible for operational liaison duties ensuring performance of Viant's Demand Side Platform. Role involves bridging internal teams (Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners to maintain operational continuity, troubleshoot, and support platform stability. Requires 3+ years experience in ad operations or related roles, familiarity with ad-serving or programmatic platforms, strong communication skills, working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, and a bachelor's degree. Responsibilities include managing publisher integrations, second-level QA, driving cross-functional projects, and translating technical findings for stakeholders. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range $70,000 - $80,000 per year. Position is full-time and hybrid based in Irvine, California.
What you'll do
- Serve as the connective point between internal teams (Ad Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners
- Drive resolution of technical issues and ensure reliability of the DSP platform
- Execute and manage publisher integrations and 3rd-party partner certifications
- Provide second-level QA and platform support, documenting and addressing escalated issues
- Drive cross-functional projects to enhance platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role
- Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document complex systems and workflows
- Proven ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly
- Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript
- Bachelor's degree
