Sr. Tech Operations Manager

What you'll do

• Drive operational excellence across R&D by building clear processes, cadences, dashboards, and follow-up mechanisms that improve execution, visibility, and decision-making
• Own and manage the PI domain across Tech, including tracking progress, monitoring key signals, identifying risks and gaps, and providing clear visibility to Tech leadership
• Partner closely with Tech leadership, R&D, Product, Finance, HR, and business stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep strategic initiatives moving
• Lead cross-functional operational projects from problem definition through execution, ensuring clear ownership, structured follow-up, risk management, and measurable outcomes
• Identify operational gaps in development workflows and turn them into practical improvements that reduce friction, increase transparency, and improve delivery predictability
• Use AI tools, automation, and lightweight internal solutions to improve recurring workflows, reporting, planning, and team productivity
• Own initiatives that strengthen the culture, engagement, and empowerment of the Tech developer community, creating scalable programs, forums, and practices that support growth, collaboration, and sense of belonging

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Technology Operations, R&D Operations, Engineering Operations, Program/Project Management, or a similar role within a technology/R&D environment
• Strong understanding of software development and R&D delivery processes, including planning, prioritization, execution, release readiness, and cross-team dependencies
• High operational capabilities, with the ability to build structure, operating cadences, dashboards, follow-up mechanisms, and clear ownership in complex environments
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact, working closely with R&D, Product, Finance, HR, and business stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence without authority and operate effectively in a matrixed organization
• Hands-on builder mindset, including practical use of AI tools, automation, no-code/low-code tools, or lightweight scripts to prototype and improve operational workflows
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel/Google Sheets, data, metrics, and decision-ready reporting
