Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Senior Staff-level Product Manager for the Creatives team to lead strategy, roadmap, and execution of creative products including integrations with third-party solutions. The role involves collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams, gathering customer requirements, designing prototypes, prioritizing releases, and iterating on products. Candidates must have 10+ years of product management experience in the Creatives space, strong data-driven decision-making skills, excellent communication, experience with distributed teams, and the ability to solve complex technical problems with scalable solutions.

What you'll do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Creative products
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams to align on strategy and consider tradeoffs and customer impact
  • Gather customer requirements, design prototypes, prioritize and scope releases representing customer needs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build and iterate on products over time

Requirements

  • Built complex products that take years of iterations to become great
  • Ability to find answers in data and quickly iterate on the product
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience in the Creatives space
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in large and small groups
  • Sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, end-to-end contributions to large and impactful projects
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative and practical scalable solutions while managing tradeoffs
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Durability and grit to try many different approaches to find the right answer
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for action and data-based argumentation
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to write detailed specifications articulating the 'why' behind the problem
