Full job description

Provide technical leadership for a team developing and maintaining data products. Responsibilities include developing data products with Python, performing exploratory data analysis using SQL on Snowflake and Databricks, developing data APIs with Golang, version control with GitHub, building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, operationalizing data products on AWS, creating and extracting data using Clickhouse, supporting and customizing applications, assisting with software updates and releases, testing and integrating new applications, documenting development and technical requirements, researching competitive products, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting integration analysis, working with QA to ensure specifications, and mentoring junior engineers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 5 years experience with Python data products, SQL, Golang APIs, 3 years with GitHub version control, Jenkins CI/CD, AWS operationalization, Clickhouse data management, and 1 year with Snowflake and Databricks. Position offers hybrid remote work per company policy.

What you'll do

  • Assist with software update processes and roll-outs of software releases
  • Analyze, test, and assist with integration of new applications
  • Document development activity and technical requirements
  • Research and evaluate competitive applications and products
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
  • Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet specifications
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5 years experience developing data products using Python
  • Experience performing exploratory data analysis using SQL
  • Experience developing data APIs using Golang
  • 3 years experience performing version control using GitHub
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Experience operationalizing data products within AWS cloud platform
  • Experience creating, maintaining and extracting data using Clickhouse
  • 1 year experience using Snowflake and Databricks
