FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support a high-quality video advertising platform. The role is remote-based. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, designing and supporting software applications, training staff, writing documentation, monitoring competitive products, providing technical leadership, and working with QA. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or higher, 3+ years relevant experience, proficiency in C/C++, database design, network programming, distributed system software design, and knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Experience with Open RTB protocol and advertising industry is a plus. The position requires flexibility to work with global teams and outside normal hours. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or above
3 years or above relevant work experience
Experience with C/C++, DB design, and network programming
Experience with distributed system software design and mission-critical systems
Familiar with Open RTB protocol is a plus
Advertising industry experience is a plus
Demonstrated problem-solving and technical innovation
Strong passion for learning/practicing new techniques
Knowledgeable about SDLC, Agile and Software Engineering Methodology
Ability to work closely with global teams and accept additional working times besides normal working hours
