Unity is hiring a Senior Communications Manager, Ads to lead integrated communications for its advertising business. The role involves developing and executing global communications programs with a social and influencer-first approach, building relationships with key influencers and media in ad tech and gaming, crafting clear narratives for broad audiences, and partnering with marketing, product, and executive teams to align messaging. Responsibilities include driving thought leadership, proactive outreach across platforms, and measuring campaign performance. Candidates must have 10+ years in communications or media relations focused on influencer engagement and digital media in ad tech or digital advertising, strong storytelling skills, and experience leading integrated campaigns. What you'll do

  • Develop and execute global communications programs elevating Unity’s leadership narrative and Ads product story with a social and influencer-first approach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influential voices across ad tech, gaming, and business including new and traditional media
  • Craft compelling narratives simplifying complex technical topics for broad audiences
  • Partner with marketing, product, and executive teams to align messaging across PR, social, and influencer channels
  • Shape and drive thought leadership platforms for key Ads leaders
  • Own proactive outreach across diverse platforms prioritizing influencers, new media, and digital creators while maintaining traditional media visibility where appropriate
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance to inform strategy and demonstrate impact

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in communications or media relations, with emphasis on influencer engagement and digital media within ad tech or digital advertising
  • Proven ability to secure impactful coverage and build long-term partnerships with tech reporters, podcasters, and industry thought leaders
  • Strong understanding of the evolving media, influencer, and digital landscape
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills for different formats and audiences
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns combining social, influencer, and PR
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
