Smadex is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join their core engineering team in Barcelona. The role involves maintaining and evolving the real-time bidding auction system. Responsibilities include designing and implementing new features using Java and NodeJS, writing clean and testable code, monitoring production system stability, and collaborating in an agile environment. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 7+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Java or NodeJS, strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, Linux, Git, Docker, Docker-Compose, testing tools, CI/CD frameworks, and excellent English communication skills. Bonus points for experience with Redis, Memcached, and AWS.
