StackAdapt is seeking a mid-level Backend Software Engineer with 2+ years experience to build scalable, distributed real-time microservices primarily in Go. Responsibilities include designing and developing systems for user profile and audience data ingestion and management, building event-driven software with Kafka, working with distributed databases such as ScyllaDB, TiDB, and Redis, and writing performance-efficient, low-latency code. Candidates must have strong problem solving skills, experience with relational or distributed databases, and proficiency in Go, Java, Python, C++, or similar backend languages. This is a full-time remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. Salary range is $140,000 to $192,500 CAD.
