The Trade Desk is hiring a Software Engineer II to develop and improve real-time bidding software. Responsibilities include full lifecycle software development, driving complex changes across bidding infrastructure, delivering quality changes with automated tests and monitoring, validating changes in release processes, learning system architecture fundamentals, participating in technical interviews, and collaborating in code and design reviews. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, knowledge of soft real-time distributed systems, proficiency in C#, Java, C, or C++, experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Rider, Git or Perforce, working with large codebases, operating systems fundamentals, profiling and optimizing latency sensitive systems, and experience with SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL or similar RDBMS in performance-sensitive contexts. The position is full-time, hybrid (telecommuting permitted within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA office), with a salary range of $151,400 to $227,000 per year.
