The Trade Desk is hiring a Software Engineer II to develop and improve real-time bidding software. The role involves full lifecycle software development, driving complex changes across bidding infrastructure, delivering quality changes with automated tests and monitoring, validating releases, and participating in technical interviews and code reviews. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and experience with soft real-time distributed systems, programming in C#, Java, C, or C++, use of code editors (Visual Studio, VS Code, Rider), version control (Git, Perforce), large scale code bases, operating systems fundamentals, memory profiling for latency optimization, and SQL databases (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL). The position is full-time, hybrid (telecommuting permitted within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA office), with a salary range of $151,400 to $227,000 per year.
