Full job description
Cognitiv is hiring a Backend Software Engineer for their Core team to build and own the foundational platform powering real-time bidding and campaign execution. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining production software for campaign management systems using .NET Core (C#), SQL/Postgres, ClickHouse, AWS, and DataDog. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience with backend programming, relational databases, software development best practices, and operational awareness including on-call duties. Responsibilities include feature ownership, delivering reliable code with observability and test coverage, maintaining service reliability, authoring design documents, collaborating with teams, and mentoring. Salary range is $130,000 - $170,000 USD base plus equity. The position is full-time with a hybrid work model based in Bellevue, Washington.
