Full job description
The Data Engineering team at Epsilon builds scalable, high-performance data platforms processing terabytes daily. The role involves developing, unit testing, and implementing applications primarily in the Hadoop ecosystem and Databricks. Candidates must have strong experience in Shell Scripting, Python/PySpark, SQL, and AWS. Responsibilities include designing custom data solutions, coding for data processing, collaborating with technical leads, contributing to data governance, troubleshooting production issues, and improving deployment processes. Qualifications include BE/B.Tech/MCA (no correspondence), 3-5 years Linux/Unix experience, 1-3 years Shell Scripting and SQL, and strong Python/PySpark skills. Experience with Databricks, AWS, JIRA, GIT/Bitbucket, and GenAI is a plus.
