This senior full-time software engineering role based in Reston, Virginia involves designing, developing, and integrating software solutions to meet business objectives. Responsibilities include system requirement analysis, application customization, software updates, mentoring junior engineers, quality assurance collaboration, troubleshooting, market research synthesis, and conducting training for users. Candidates must have 5+ years experience in software or platform engineering, proficiency in at least one programming language (Go or Python), hands-on Kubernetes and container experience, familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, OCI), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Argo CD), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and GitOps practices. Preferred skills include production Kubernetes operations, managed Kubernetes services (EKS, OKE), observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), and building internal developer platforms. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. The salary range is $120,212.52 to $180,318.78 depending on experience. The role requires regular attendance including nights and weekends as needed.
