Full job description Epsilon seeks a mid-level Software Engineer with 1-3 years experience to join the Data Practice Development Team. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining high-volume production software applications using Java, C++, Perl, SQL, UNIX, and ETL tools. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and clients to clarify business rules, creating technical documentation, adhering to coding standards, participating in code reviews, and managing work using Jira. Candidates should have a B.S. in Computer Science or related field, experience with Java, .NET, UNIX scripting, C++/C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL, relational databases, web services, APIs, Git, Jira, and exposure to AWS cloud services and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted development tools, containerization (Docker), and multi-threaded systems is a plus.
