Full job description

Software Development Engineer role in Partner Data Integration team responsible for building APIs, user interfaces, and data pipelines for product catalog data ingestion, enrichment, and management. Responsibilities include developing high-quality backend code with strict SLAs, integrating Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals, collaborating in a multicultural team, and working with other engineering teams on roadmaps and ML models. Requires at least 2 years experience in large-scale system development, proficiency in OOP and languages like C#, C++, or Java, willingness to learn frontend technologies (Angular/React, Javascript/Typescript), and commitment to quality and testing. Bonus for familiarity with machine learning. Hybrid work model based in Bucharest, Romania. What you'll do

  • Build high-quality, maintainable code for business-critical APIs, services and backend components
  • Ensure compliance with rigorous SLAs (less than 45ms) and handle up to 40 billion requests per day
  • Integrate and test Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals within the creative ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with mentor and multi-cultural team to drive projects and apply best practices
  • Work with other engineering teams to develop long-term roadmaps, ML models, designs and architectures

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Expertise in at least one programming language such as C#, C++, or Java
  • Experience or willingness to learn Front-End development using Angular/React and Javascript/Typescript
  • Strong commitment to quality designs, automated testing and documentation
  • Passion for low-latency/large-scale back-end systems
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Machine Learning theory and models
