Full job description
Software Developer role in Production Engineering team within Infrastructure R&D. Responsibilities include designing, developing, deploying, measuring, and maintaining large-scale distributed real-time recommendation systems. Requires 3+ years programming experience in Java or equivalent OOP language, strong computer science fundamentals, production systems knowledge, SQL and No-SQL experience, Linux proficiency, and ability to collaborate across teams. Bonus for Big Data tools and knowledge in algorithms, data mining, and machine learning. Tech stack includes Java, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra, Vertica, MySQL, HDFS, BigQuery, Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Metrictank, Grafana, Airflow, Redis.
