Full job description

Celtra is seeking a Software Developer Intern with valid student status in Slovenia. The role involves developing frontend and backend components of products used by top companies. Technologies include Scala, NodeJS, PHP, MySQL, Spark, Snowflake, MongoDB, Kinesis, Vue.js, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and backend languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, Go. Responsibilities include implementing frontend experiences, working on REST and WebSocket APIs, background jobs, and writing automated tests. The position offers hybrid work (home or Ljubljana office), flexible hours, mentorship, development plan, quality equipment, team events, and free breakfasts/beverages. English communication skills and willingness to learn are required.

What you'll do

  • Develop frontend and backend of products used by top companies and thousands of users daily
  • Implement rich frontend experiences and participate in client-side architecture revamp and redesign
  • Work on backend APIs (REST, web sockets) and background jobs
  • Write automated tests to maintain high quality

Requirements

  • Valid student status in Slovenia
  • Understanding of RESTful API architecture
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Knowledge of at least one backend programming language (Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, Go, Scala, etc.)
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Willingness to constantly learn and improve
  • Team player
