PulsePoint operates large-scale data and advertising platforms supporting business-critical services. The Platform Engineering team builds and operates infrastructure for Kubernetes workloads, data platforms, developer tooling, observability, and production operations at scale, managing the full lifecycle from bare-metal hardware to cloud. The role is hands-on, focusing on architecture, reliability, automation, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating the Kubernetes platform, managing platform architecture, lifecycle, reliability, observability, incident response, automation, networking, security, and developer experience. Technologies include Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Puppet, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Kafka, Redis, Ceph, Go, Python, Bash, and GitOps. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience operating production infrastructure at scale, understanding distributed systems failures and recovery, preferring automation, simplifying systems, and taking broad ownership. Coding fluency in Go, Python, and Bash is required, including reading and writing infrastructure code and using AI-assisted workflows responsibly. The role is full-time, remote, with working hours aligned to 9am-6pm ET US time for on-call rotation. Hiring is open for full-time employees in the US, UK, Germany, India, and the Netherlands; other countries via long-term contractor arrangements.
