PulsePoint operates large-scale data and advertising platforms critical to the company. The Platform Engineering team builds and operates infrastructure supporting Kubernetes workloads, data platforms, developer tooling, observability, and production operations. This role involves hands-on work focused on architecture, reliability, automation, and operational excellence for complex distributed systems. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating the Kubernetes platform, managing platform architecture, lifecycle, reliability, observability, incident response, automation, networking, security, and developer experience. Technologies used include Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Puppet, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Kafka, Redis, and Ceph. Candidates should have experience operating production infrastructure at scale, understanding distributed system failures and recovery, prefer automation, simplify systems, take ownership beyond single components, and be willing to work 9am-6pm ET US hours. The role is remote and full-time based in the United Kingdom.
