Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Senior Workplace Associate to support daily office operations and provide a positive, safe, and productive workplace experience. Responsibilities include acting as the primary office contact, supporting reception, managing building access, processing invoices, attending maintenance issues, ensuring health and safety compliance, assisting with onboarding, organizing events, and collaborating with internal teams. Candidates should have 3-5 years experience in fast-paced office environments, strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, a proactive attitude, and the ability to perform physical tasks including manual handling. The role requires occasional after-hours availability and a customer service focus.

What you'll do

  • Act as primary point of contact for the office and assist with daily operational workplace requirements
  • Engage with employees at all levels to gauge workplace culture and provide positive employee and guest experience
  • Cover and support reception when required
  • Support projects
  • Process invoices with accountability
  • Manage guest and employee building access in coordination with building management
  • Proactively manage change in a growing environment
  • Attend promptly to maintenance issues and ensure satisfactory resolution
  • Conduct regular building walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and address maintenance or safety concerns
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
  • Support creation of internal marketing materials
  • Assist with new hire onboarding for employees and contractors
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and committees to organize, plan, budget, and identify vendors for events
  • Partner with People Operations to maintain and enforce workplace policies
  • Support workplace and building security policies and systems with Global Real Estate team
  • Collaborate with global Workplace Services colleagues on best practices

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced office or professional work environment
  • Experience within tech sector a plus
  • Genuine interest in providing an outstanding level of service
  • Upbeat, positive attitude with attention to detail
  • Resilient and creative problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident with public speaking and presenting to large groups
  • Creative/marketing experience advantageous
  • Proactive attitude and outstanding customer service
  • Able to respond after hours for emergencies and work outside designated hours as needed
  • Full knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Active duties requiring walking, standing, reaching, bending, and crouching
  • Manual handling required
