Candidates must have 7-10 years of applied research experience blending UX and market research, domain expertise in digital advertising or related B2B tech markets, and experience influencing senior leadership. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong strategic thinking, and hands-on AI integration in research workflows. This is a remote-first, full-time position open to candidates in Canada and the United States. Salary ranges from $148,000 to $203,000 CAD in Canada and $156,000 to $214,500 USD in the USA. Requirements
7–10 years of applied research experience with a portfolio showing influence on product or business strategy
Blend of UX research and market research experience including qualitative and quantitative methods
Experience with market opportunity assessment, sizing, ideal customer profile/segmentation, value proposition, product-market fit, and competitive research
Domain expertise in digital advertising, adtech/martech, data-driven platforms, or privacy-sensitive B2B technology markets
Ability to translate market shifts, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory trends into product direction
Comfort with ambiguity, ill-defined problem spaces, and complex domains with systems thinking
Experience influencing senior leadership (Director/VP/CTO) and building strategic narratives and business cases
Experience partnering with analytics/data teams to combine quantitative and qualitative insights
Experience facilitating workshops and driving research into product and strategy decisions
Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into research workflows with scalable processes
Experience conducting research on AI-powered features or products and in B2B/platform environments is a strong asset
