Full job description

The Senior User Experience Designer will design intuitive, data-driven experiences for internal and client-facing platforms. Responsibilities include building wireframes and prototypes, applying user-centered design principles, conducting user research, enforcing design system and accessibility standards, usability testing, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires 4-7 years UX experience, knowledge of UX processes, strong communication and problem-solving skills, visual design sense, ability to accept feedback, and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A portfolio of design work is required. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you'll do

  • Combine user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to build wireframes and prototypes
  • Apply user-centered design principles to create efficient and user-friendly digital products
  • Conduct and document user research using methodologies like personas, site maps, user flows, interviews, card sorting, competitive audits, and market research
  • Stay current with latest design developments
  • Participate in cross-functional project meetings and advocate for Product Design team
  • Enforce and evolve CORE UI design system and adhere to WCAG accessibility standards
  • Conduct and oversee formal usability testing across the organization
  • Contribute to design critiques and mentor junior designers
  • Partner with other disciplines to ensure quality throughout project lifecycle

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience working within established UX teams
  • Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of UX standard processes
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good sense of visual design
  • Ability to accept feedback and iterate on wireframes and prototypes
  • High-level knowledge of front-end and/or back-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Accessible online portfolio showcasing outstanding design work
