Sovrn is hiring a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to lead design and evolution of complex, scalable distributed systems. Responsibilities include designing scalable systems, driving technical excellence, leveraging AI and automation, shaping engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical strategy with business goals. Required skills include expertise in scalable architecture, performance, security, compliance (SOC, ISO, GDPR), automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting (Python, Bash, Go), strategic systems thinking, and leadership. The role is full-time, hybrid, based in Boulder, Colorado. Salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 for Senior and $170,000 to $200,000 for Staff level, plus bonus and equity.
