Full job description

StackAdapt is hiring Senior and Staff Machine Learning Engineers for their Data Science team. The role involves designing scalable real-time data pipelines, improving big data ML pipeline architecture, implementing custom ML algorithms in low latency environments, and working with microservice architectures managing thousands of ML models concurrently. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience, strong skills in algorithm and software design, concurrency, data structures, probabilistic or ML algorithms, and distributed systems. A high GPA or equivalent experience is required. The position is full-time and remote, open to candidates anywhere in Canada. What you'll do

  • Design modular and scalable real-time data pipelines to handle huge datasets
  • Suggest, implement, and coordinate architectural improvements for big data ML pipelines
  • Understand and implement custom ML algorithms in a low latency environment
  • Work on microservice architectures that run training, inference, and monitoring on thousands of ML models concurrently

Requirements

  • Ability to break down ambiguously defined tasks into actionable steps
  • Ability to follow through complex projects to completion independently and by coordinating others
  • Deep understanding of algorithm and software design, concurrency, and data structures
  • Experience implementing probabilistic or machine learning algorithms
  • Experience designing scalable distributed systems
  • High GPA from a well-respected Computer Science program or equivalent experience in a competitive, innovative tech company
  • Enjoy working in a friendly, collaborative environment
