Full job description

StackAdapt is hiring a Senior/Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join their engineering team. The role involves leading the development and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance advertising ROI, owning end-to-end production-grade ML model development, collaborating with engineers to deploy models, and driving prototyping and testing of algorithms using historical data. Candidates should have 3+ years of industry experience, a Masters or PhD in a relevant field, strong skills in statistics, optimization, machine learning, coding, data structures, and algorithms, and the ability to break down ambiguous tasks. The position is full-time and remote, open to candidates in the US or Canada. What you'll do

  • Lead creation and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to improve advertising effectiveness and ROI
  • Own end-to-end development of production-grade ML models including writing efficient, scalable code
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to deploy and integrate algorithms into live systems
  • Drive prototyping and rigorous testing of innovative algorithms and data pipelines using historical data
  • Lead iterative improvements based on data-driven insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
