StackAdapt is hiring a Senior/Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join the engineering team focused on data science. The role involves leading the development and optimization of machine learning algorithms to improve advertising effectiveness and ROI. Responsibilities include end-to-end development of production-grade ML models, collaborating with engineers for deployment, prototyping and testing algorithms and data pipelines, and leading iterative improvements based on data insights. Candidates should have 3+ years of industry experience, a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields, strong skills in statistics, optimization, machine learning, coding, data structures, and algorithms, and the ability to break down ambiguous tasks. The position is remote-first and open to candidates in the US or Canada. Salary ranges from $160,000 to $220,000 USD in the US and $170,400 to $234,300 CAD in Canada.
