Full job description

Koddi is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Ads Delivery team to design and deliver high-performance backend systems managing billions of ad impressions, bids, and conversions daily. The role involves building scalable integrations with third-party platforms, leading technical discussions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving innovation in ad performance and optimization, and mentoring engineers. Candidates must have strong backend experience in Go or similar languages, expertise in REST and gRPC APIs, at least 8 years of experience with complex, high-scale systems, strong software design and distributed systems knowledge, and excellent collaboration skills. Experience with real-time bidding, ad serving, performance marketing platforms, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Location: Fort Worth, Texas.

What you'll do

  • Build robust, scalable integrations with third-party platforms and own those integrations end to end
  • Lead customer-facing technical discussions, gather requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate across internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customers to identify and implement high-impact solutions using data and metrics
  • Drive innovation across ad performance, auction dynamics, and optimization algorithms
  • Mentor and support other developers to grow their technical skills and advance their careers

Requirements

  • Strong backend engineering experience in Go or similar strongly typed languages
  • Expertise building REST and gRPC APIs
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience developing, operating, and maintaining complex, high-scale, or high-availability systems
  • Strong programming fundamentals and deep understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization
  • Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines with focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and support their career growth
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
