Full job description
Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and maintaining Smartly's performance reporting platform. Responsibilities include designing and building backend services, solving challenges related to performance, reliability, and large-scale analytical workloads, and integrating new advertising channels. Requires experience with complex backend systems, strong database fundamentals, distributed and asynchronous processing (Kafka), and software design skills. Technical ownership and collaborative leadership are essential. Technologies used include Ruby, TypeScript, Kafka, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Citus. The role offers a hybrid work model based in Helsinki, Finland.
