Full job description

Senior Full Stack Engineer role to build a new platform integration at Smartly. Key technologies: Node.js, React, TypeScript. Responsibilities include ownership of integration, designing and monitoring microservices, collaborating with engineers and product teams, facilitating team activities, and mentoring. Requirements: experience in backend and UI development with Node.js, React, TypeScript, building complex web applications, strong collaboration and coaching skills, and ability to work hybrid from Helsinki office 3 days a week. What you'll do

  • Have end-to-end ownership of a new platform integration
  • Design, build and monitor data-intensive microservices systems
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to deliver cutting edge solutions
  • Take part and facilitate team activities such as dailies, retros and brainstorming sessions
  • Coach and mentor other members of the team to follow best practices and industry standards

Requirements

  • Experience in backend development using modern technologies such as Node.js and Typescript
  • Experience in UI development (React & Typescript)
  • Experience in building robust, complex and distributed web applications
  • Motivation for solving customers problems and delivering value to customers at a fast pace
  • Strong collaboration skills & ability to coach other engineers in the team
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office 3 days a week
