DeepIntent seeks a mid-level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3.5+ years experience in software testing and automation. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing using Python (Pytest), Playwright, Robot Framework, and similar tools. Responsibilities include defining test strategies, improving automation coverage, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, performing functional and data validation testing, analyzing business requirements, investigating test failures, and leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools. Candidates must have strong programming skills in Python, experience with software testing methodologies, UI and API testing, SQL, Git, Jenkins, and agile practices. Familiarity with data pipelines, AI coding assistants, Generative AI, and large language models is required. Good to have experience with ClickHouse, Apache Spark, BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing, and AI security testing. The position is full-time, hybrid, and based in Pune, India.
