Full job description

Teads is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Demand Platform team in Montpellier. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to develop complex services, designing, developing, testing, and monitoring code in production autonomously. The engineer will work closely with Engineering, Product, and UI/UX teams to frame projects and ensure execution. Candidates should have strong programming skills, experience in front-end and API development, production knowledge including release and observability, and strong problem-solving abilities. The tech stack includes Scala, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go, MySQL, BigQuery, AWS, and GCP. What you'll do

  • Collaborate with various teams to develop complex services
  • Create, design, develop, test, and monitor code in production autonomously and reliably
  • Work with Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and UI/UX team to frame projects and be accountable for execution
  • Understand the business to provide relevant solutions to clients
  • Facilitate communication inside and outside Teads
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and architectures and propose implementation ideas

Requirements

  • Good programming abilities with testing as second nature
  • Mindful of application architecture, performance, maintainability, and quality
  • Experience with AI routines to speed up processes
  • Solid background in Front-End and API development with design patterns
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience shipping software projects
  • Production knowledge and practices including Release, Observability, Troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
