Full job description
Join Vibe's Data team to own and operate scalable, cost-efficient data infrastructure supporting real-time event processing, batch pipelines, and analytics. Responsibilities include managing Kafka, Dagster, ClickHouse Cloud, and optimizing performance and cost. Requires 5+ years experience with distributed data systems, strong Python/Rust skills, and production experience with Kafka, Spark, Iceberg/object storage, ClickHouse, AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code. Role is hybrid based in Paris. Salary range €99,000 - €171,000. Benefits include equity, variable pay, health insurance, meal vouchers, annual offsite, and tech syncs.
What you'll do
Design and operate real-time event processing on Kafka at production scale
Build and run batch orchestration pipelines on Dagster
Own the serving path into ClickHouse Cloud from ingestion through query
