Join Vibe's Data team to own and scale distributed, data-intensive systems supporting real-time and batch data processing for streaming TV advertising. Responsibilities include designing and operating Kafka event processing, building batch pipelines with Dagster, managing ClickHouse Cloud ingestion and queries, driving projects end-to-end, setting architecture decisions, building developer tooling and CI/CD, ensuring reliability and operational excellence with alerting and incident response, optimizing performance and cost across Kafka, Spark, DuckDB, and ClickHouse, and collaborating cross-functionally with data, ML, and product teams. Requirements include 5+ years experience in production distributed systems, strong Python and/or Rust programming skills, experience with Kafka, Spark, Iceberg or object storage, ClickHouse or similar analytics databases, AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and proven performance or cost optimization.
