Full job description
MNTN is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to develop and improve core models and systems powering targeting products for Connected TV advertising. Responsibilities include creating and supporting Kotlin APIs and services, working with Rust, PySpark, Kafka, and RDBMS, building reliable high-volume services, handling large data volumes, collaborating with product teams, and optimizing existing products. Requirements include 5+ years experience in Java, Kotlin, or Scala, proficiency in SQL and database design, experience with microservices, familiarity with Git and Linux/UNIX, cloud experience (AWS, GCP), and integration of AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT. The role is full-time and remote within the United States.
