Full job description
Senior Software Engineer role in AI Platform Team at Smartly. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining backend services for campaign optimization, supporting ML model production, mentoring team, improving software architecture, and collaborating with stakeholders. Required skills: strong Python, 5+ years software development, 2+ years cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), experience with NodeJS, React, TypeScript (plus), ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) are a plus. Must have analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, strong communication in English, ability to work 3 days/week onsite. M.Sc. preferred. Tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, React. Hybrid work model based in Berlin, Germany.
