Full job description

RTB House seeks a lead AI Engineering Lab technical leader with strong software engineering skills. The role involves architecting internal tools and autonomous agents to enhance engineering workflows, deciding between building custom solutions or integrating third-party LLM products. Responsibilities include mentoring peers, designing distributed multi-agent systems, prototyping AI tools, managing full development lifecycle, and aligning innovations with company strategy. Required skills: Python proficiency, experience with Java/Go/TypeScript/Scala, LLM integration, system architecture, and C1 English and Polish. Nice to have experience with developer tools, Agentic AI frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and ad-tech/RTB systems. The position is a B2B contract with options for 100% remote work or office presence in Warsaw or Cracow.

What you'll do

  • Act as a technical pillar within the Lab, implementing high-standard code and system designs
  • Mentor mid-level peers and lead deep-dive code reviews
  • Design and deploy distributed systems and multi-agent architectures
  • Own architectural decisions for build vs. integrate strategies
  • Evaluate and prototype LLMs, Agentic frameworks, and Model Context Protocols
  • Transform AI advancements into production-ready tools
  • Take responsibility for the entire development lifecycle
  • Partner with Product and Engineering Managers to align innovations with company roadmap

Requirements

  • Proven ability to evaluate third-party tools and vendor solutions against custom-built software
  • High proficiency in Python
  • Significant experience with at least one other language (Java, Go, TypeScript, or Scala)
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production environments
  • Ability to define technical roadmaps and drive high-level design choices
  • C1 level in English and Polish
