Full job description
Work on a high-throughput real-time ad exchange system involving a Node.js bidder, data pipelines, SQL analysis, and machine learning models. Responsibilities include developing the real-time bidder and throttling layer, analyzing large datasets, and applying interpretable ML models to optimize bidding decisions. Requires strong generalist skills, backend programming expertise, SQL fluency, curiosity, and experience with AdTech or real-time systems. Fluency in AI coding tools is essential. Position is full-time, hybrid (3 days in Bellevue office), with salary range $175,000-$200,000 plus benefits.
What you'll do
- Work on the real-time bidder (Node.js) that decides which ad requests to forward to demand partners with near-zero latency
- Develop and maintain the throttling layer that acts on bidder decisions
- Aggregate traffic performance data and produce the throttle layer bridging analytics and the live bidder
