Senior, Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes
• Analyze requirements and create test strategies and plans
• Take end-to-end ownership of the testing lifecycle for major projects
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and Playwright
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to ensure test coverage and defect resolution
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous quality improvements
• Write complex database queries for data validation across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases
• Create test cases, link them to user stories and bugs in ADO and JIRA, and maintain test documentation in Confluence
• Share best practices across teams
• Contribute to building test solutions using Playwright for UI and API testing
• Maintain and enhance automation scripts for regression and smoke testing

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience in software testing and automation
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium and Playwright
• Document test scenarios, test results, and knowledge sharing with Confluence
• Write complex database queries for data validation using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks covering smoke, regression, and integration suites
• Use Azure DevOps and JIRA for test plan management, defect tracking, and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Execute automated test runs and manage defects with ADO dashboards and CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain reusable page objects and enhance framework utilities using Pipelines, Git, and Maven
• Work from company office in St. Petersburg, FL certain days per week with telecommuting allowed for balance
