Full job description

Senior Software Engineer role responsible for architecting, developing, and owning Addressability in the Zeta Marketing Platform. Requires collaboration with engineers, product managers, and executives to build a multichannel marketing solution. Responsibilities include building and maintaining real-time infrastructure, designing data collection and processing services, working with DevOps to optimize infrastructure, participating in architecture discussions, and on-call rotation. Requires minimum 4 years software engineering experience, 2+ years Scala/Java, proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, experience with AWS, Terraform, container solutions, and distributed low latency scalable cloud systems. Experience in advertising attribution and agile processes is a plus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage. Hybrid role based in London, UK.

What you'll do

  • Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure
  • Design, develop and maintain services for data collection and real-time data processing
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to design and build data products
  • Work with DevOps team to scale and optimize infrastructure
  • Participate in architecture discussions and influence roadmap
  • Take ownership and responsibility over new projects
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field from an English-instruction university strongly desired
  • 2+ years of experience/fluency in Scala/Java
  • Proficient with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with container-based solutions is a plus
  • Experience with ZIO, Akka, Play Framework is a plus
  • Experience with AWS cloud services at scale
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Proven long term experience and enthusiasm for distributed data processing at scale
  • Expertise in designing and architecting distributed low latency and scalable cloud solutions
  • Exposure to full software development lifecycle from inception to production and monitoring
  • Experience in Advertising Attribution domain is a plus
  • Experience in agile software development processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
