Full job description

Senior Software Engineer role responsible for technical leadership in architecting, developing, and owning Addressability in the Zeta Marketing Platform. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and executives to build a multichannel marketing solution. Design and develop real-time systems enabling core Identity Solutions. Mentor developers. Requires deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and experience with large-scale, low-latency data processing. Hybrid role based in Prague. Responsibilities include building and maintaining real-time infrastructure, designing data collection and processing services, working with product and DevOps teams, participating in architecture discussions, and on-call rotation. Requirements include 4+ years software engineering experience, degree in Computer Science or related field, 2+ years Scala/Java experience, proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, experience with container solutions, cloud services (AWS), Terraform, and distributed data processing. Agile development experience and excellent communication skills required. Experience in advertising attribution is a plus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.

What you'll do

  • Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure
  • Design, develop and maintain services responsible for data collection and real-time data processing
  • Work with Product Managers to design and build data products
  • Collaborate with DevOps team to scale and optimize infrastructure
  • Participate in architecture discussions, influence roadmap, take ownership of new projects
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field with English as primary language of instruction strongly desired
  • 2+ years of experience/fluency in Scala/Java
  • Proficient with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with container-based solutions is a plus
  • Experience with libraries such as ZIO, Akka, Play Framework is a plus
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS) at scale
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Proven long term experience and enthusiasm for distributed data processing at scale
  • Expertise in designing and architecting distributed low latency and scalable cloud solutions
  • Exposure to full software development lifecycle from inception to production and monitoring
  • Experience in Advertising Attribution domain is a plus
  • Experience in agile software development processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
