Full job description

Senior Full-Stack Developer role at Nexxen. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end development from design to production, contributing to platform infrastructure and architecture, designing and implementing scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript), building RESTful and event-driven APIs, developing systems for publishers management, bidding logic, reporting, and dashboards, maintaining frontend applications with Angular (15+), researching core technologies and third-party integrations, writing testable code, improving observability, and participating in design reviews. Requirements: 5+ years experience in enterprise web applications and distributed systems, scalable web system architecture design, REST APIs, async processing, clean architecture, production system monitoring and debugging, Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (TypeScript, NestJS) advantage, modern UI frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) advantage, relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Vertica, Redis, Elasticsearch), strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, passion for learning, BSc in Computer Science or equivalent. Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. Job type: full-time, hybrid.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end development process, from design to production
  • Contribute to platform infrastructure and architectural decisions
  • Drive best practices in system design, code quality and AI-assisted development
  • Design and implement scalable backend services in Java (Spring Boot) and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript)
  • Build RESTful and event-driven APIs
  • Develop reliable systems supporting publishers management, bidding logic, reporting, and customer-facing dashboards
  • Build and maintain modern frontend applications using Angular (15+)
  • Ensure seamless integration with backend services and consistent UX performance
  • Engage in research of core technologies, integrations with external APIs and third-party services
  • Provide effective solutions to production and scalability challenges
  • Write high-quality, testable code (unit, integration, E2E)
  • Improve observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications and distributed systems in production
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable web system architectures
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, async processing, and clean architecture principles
  • Experience monitoring, debugging and supporting production systems
  • Experience with Java (Spring Boot)
  • Experience with Node.js (TypeScript, NestJS) – advantage
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) – big advantage
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Vertica, Redis, Elasticsearch)
  • Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and multitask effectively
  • Passionate about learning new technologies
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
